With its incredibly powerful 4 Megapixel sensor concealed within a sleek designer casing, the MVX4i is no ordinary camcorder. DIGIC DV and an RGB Primary Color Filter deliver professional video quality and the type of impressive digital still results normally associated only with high end digital still cameras.

Superb quality video and stills
The DIGIC DV split path processor renders stills and video according to each format's specific requirements, for uncompromised video and digital still image quality. Optical data is translated into beautiful, lifelike imagery, for warm and natural skin tones, rich, vibrant sky blues and lush green grasses. Eliminating the need for signal conversion, the RGB Primary Color Filter enhances tonal accuracy and colour definition.

Built in digital camera
Avoiding complicated menus, an AE Mode dial gives you immediate access to all shooting modes, including an abundance of photo functions normally found only in digital cameras. Special Scene modes help with great results in tricky lighting conditions, while access to features such as Auto Exposure Bracketing and a built-in flash give you complete control over your image. The same 9-point auto focusing found in Canon's leading still cameras keeps your image sharp – even with off-centre subjects. You can even shoot photos and record video simultaneously or record up to 60 frames at 5fps in a single burst.

Outstanding camcorder functionality
For sweeping panoramic effect, your MVX4i delivers High Resolution 16:9 widescreen mode. And to ensure corner-to-corner clarity of all the big screen drama, an ultra compact 10x zoom lens builds on 60 years of Canon experience, delivering crisp, high contrast images. Your new camcorder even features Electronic Image Stabilization – keeping your footage steady, even when you can't be.

Light and sound – under control
For shooting in low light, the MVX4i's Mini Video Light and Light Guide Flash extend your after dark options. Use the Manual Audio Level Control to improve your sound recording quality, keeping recording levels good and even.

Easy prints
To create album quality prints (up to A4), simply connect your new camcorder to any PictBridge compatible printer and hit the Print/Share button – it is that easy. And with the Hi-Speed USB connection, photo prints and file uploads to computer are also super fast.
