That's why the NEX-7 boasts a huge, 24.3MP APS-C sensor—the same size sensor used in most DSLRs-for ultra-high resolution and incredibly- detailed photos that make for gorgeous enlargements. With a sensor 13 times larger than the average compact camera, the NEX-7 offers the image quality and performance of a DSLR in about half the size and weight.
