With a 3.0” 230,000-pixel LCD, the Samsung i7 provides wider, clearer images. An innovative user interface makes it possible for the power to be on and for the camera’s mode to switch with the rotation of the LCD.

Besides the digital camera in a slim body, the Samsung i7 also has 7 other multimedia functions – Camcorder, MP3 player, Portable Multimedia Player, Text viewer, Voice recorder, Portable disk, and the newly added World Tour Guide function. The world-famous 3D audio technology SRS WOW HD built into the Samsung i7 enables you to enjoy dynamic 3D sound quality when you listen to music in the MP3 player mode or watch a movie in the PMP mode.

Touch Screen PUI (Physical User Interface)
The 3.0” large Touch Screen allows you to set the functions quickly and conveniently. Samsung camera’s original menu configuration and the Touch Screen provide a whole new way of operating the camera.

World Tour Guide
By adding the World Tour Guide function to a digital camera for the first time, the Samsung i7 provides more convenient and diverse usability while travelling. Images and explanations of famous attractions in 30 countries are provided. With the World Tour Guide function for images and explanations of famous attractions, you can check global travel information easily and conveniently.

Easier operation of the camera through the Touch Screen and Flash Animation GUI (Graphical User Interface)
With the Touch Screen and Flash GUI recently added to the Samsung i7, you can easily use the World Tour Guide.

Provision of a 450MB internal memory for World Tour Guide function
A 450MB internal high capacity memory is provided for you to store various World Tour Guides. Face Recognition AF & AE
With the Face Recognition AF & AE function, the Samsung i7 enables the user to take better portrait pictures more easily. The function detects faces and automatically focuses on them; the brightness of the face is adjusted optimally for beautiful portrait pictures.

ISO 1600 high sensitivity support
The Samsung i7 produces vivid pictures even in low light. The camera has an auto sensitivity feature that automatically adjusts sensitivity up to ISO 1600 depending on the ambient exposure conditions. The high sensitivity setting of ISO 1600 enables you to take clear indoor pictures, even in poor light without camera shake or image blur.

Advanced Shake Reduction
The ASR technology prevents the degradation of image clarity and colour which is sometimes found in flash photography. With ASR the effects of camera shake are reduced in lower light conditions. You can even take well exposed, sharper pictures in low light without using a flash at all, resulting in more natural looking pictures.

Wise Shot
This feature takes a shot using both ASR and Flash simultaneously. It then compares the results and gives you the better picture of the two. ( i.e. the flash shot if it is better than the ASR shot, and vice versa)

Red-eye Fix
The Red-eye Fix algorithm programmed into the camera automatically eliminates red eye in shoot and play modes, allowing you take a natural portrait photo.

14 Scene modes
The 14 Scene modes enable anyone to take the best pictures with ease, in different shooting environments-for example Portrait, Children, Cafe, Landscape, etc. The Samsung i7 provides 14 Scene modes: Night, Portrait, Children, Landscape, Macro, Text, Sunset, Dawn, Backlight, Firework, Beach/ Snow, Self-Shot, Food, Cafe.

Wider, dynamic SVGA quality iMovie Clip function
With the application of a new technology, it is possible to take movie recording in the SVGA quality (800×592) size which provides wider images than the VGA (600×480) size. 3x optical zoom support for iMovie Clip function
