2.5 inch LCD screen
A camera of this class demands the very best TFT LCD, and at a generous size of 2.5" and a resolution of 230,000 pixels, you can't get much better. Sensing ambient light, the LCD automatically adjusts brightness for optimum viewing indoors or outdoors. Manual control can provide additional brightness. Unlike other inferior cameras, the LCD is protected by a scratch resistant, reinforced acrylic protective shield, so even if loose in a pocket, the LCD has its own in-built protection.
xD and SD compatibility
The FinePix Z10fd features an xD/SD compatible slot, allowing the use of either xD Picture Card, SD or SDHC media to store and transfer your photos. This will give you the flexibility to buy the card you want, use cards from previous cameras, or choose the media that fits with your other desktop devices like laptops, PDAs or card readers.
Micro thumbnail view
The 2.5 inch LCD screen allows you to view your images comfortably. It displays your pictures in a number of alternative ways and enables you to navigate up to 100 thumbnail images in a 10 x 10 array. In addition you can bring your photos to life by creating your own slide shows by selecting to show images of close up portraits, or view multiple images in a scrapbook style. You can even add a soundtrack to further enhance your image viewing pleasure.
