Fujifilm FinePix AX280

Scene Detection Technology
The FinePix AX280 can detect up to six commonly photographed scenes and optimises focus, exposure and white balance to suit the scene being shot.
Portrait
Recognises portraits by detecting the faces quickly in the frame and optimising focus, brightness and white balance.
Landscape
Scenic shots such as mountains and buildings are automatically recognised. Subtle tones and shades of the sky, forests, and fields of flowers are captured with vivid colour and depth.
Night
For low-light and nighttime scenarios, shutter speed and sensitivity are automatically adjusted, producing blur-free pictures with minimal noise.
Macro
Macro mode sets the focusing position on the detail of small flowers or tiny subjects with precision.
Night Portrait
When photographing people at night or in low light, SR AUTO optimises flash range, shutter speed, and exposure of the portraits, while capturing smooth and luminous background.
Backlit Portrait
Optimises brightness of the faces that usually end up in shadow and underexposure caused by the light behind.
Perfect Portraits
Face Detection can identify up to ten faces in a frame and optimises focus and exposure to ensure perfectly exposed faces. Plus, with in-built automatic red-eye removal, any nasty red-eye present is eliminated for flawless people pictures.
Panoramic Shooting Mode
This mode is great when you want to do justice to a sweeping landscape, or want to take a picture of a large group of people.
Simply take three consecutive shots of a scene and Panoramic Shooting mode will seamlessly stitch them back together in-camera to create a single panoramic picture all ready to print and put on your wall!
Never know whether to use the flash or not?
If that's the case then just select this mode & press the shutter button: the camera will automatically capture the same scene twice; once with high sensitivity and natural light; and the second time with Intelligent Flash. Allowing you to playback both shots & see which one works the best!
Simple Point and Shoot Modes
An extensive selection of pre-programmed shooting modes ensures great photos in various conditions, eliminating the need to fuss with camera settings.
Scene Recognition Auto
Simply by pointing the camera at the subject, the camera automatically analyses and selects the most appropriate setting using scene recognition.
Auto
The easiest mode for taking pictures. Use this for ordinary photography.
Program Auto
Automatic mode to specify settings except shutter speed and aperture setting.
Natural Light & with Flash
Shoots 2 images continuously, without flash and with flash. Comes in great handy during marginal shooting situations.
Natural Light
Retains natural ambience of shots taken in low-light conditions.
Portrait
Set for shooting portraits. Skin tones are softened as it enhances the overall natural look.
Baby Mode
Function most suitable for taking pictures of young children.
Landscape
Best for shooting scenery in daylight capturing clear and sharp shots of buildings and mountains effectively.
Panorama
Captures and combines max 3 consecutive shots, which are saved to the memory card as a panoramic picture
Sport
Quickly detects subject movement and employs a faster shutter speed to help you catch the perfect moment.
