4x optical zoom

Optical Image Stabilizer
Optical Image Stabilizer (IS) technology counteracts camera shake at slower shutter speeds and full zoom. It also allows for flash-free shooting indoors and in low light.

DIGIC III with iSAPS
Canon's DIGIC III processor delivers high-speed performance and superior colour rendition, whilst advanced noise reduction ensures cleaner images at high ISO speeds. iSAPS uses shooting scene data to optimise camera settings before a shot is taken.

Face Detection AF/AE/FE
Face Detection AF/AE/FE ensures superb people shots by automatically detecting up to 9 faces in frame and setting the correct focus, exposure and flash settings. Face Detection Technology also enables Red-Eye Correction in playback mode. Fix red-eyes in the camera and make them look natural again.

ISO 1600 and High ISO Auto
PowerShot A570 IS’s high ISO settings enable you to take excellent flash-free photographs in lowlight conditions such as museums or restaurants. High ISO Auto prioritises high ISO to enable faster shutter speeds, reducing the risk of blurred images.

Shooting modes
The A570 IS’s 19 shooting modes include a creative zone for manual control. Popular Special Scene modes - Night Snapshot, Kids & Pets and Indoor - are located on the shooting mode dial for easy access. Apply colour effects in camera with My Colors.

Shoot VGA quality movies with full audio. View them on the camera's LCD screen, or connect to a TV or PC for full screen playback.

2.5" LCD screen
The bright 2.5" LCD screen is ideal for easy group viewing. Night Display mode aids visibility in low light while a selectable Grid Line display helps with composition.

Comprehensive range of accessories
