The Samsung L830 is a high resolution digital camera that is equipped with a true-colour filtered 8.1 mega -pixel CCD. This allows the Samsung L830 to produce even better images and take detailed photos for printing up to poster size. In addition, the Samsung L830 has a 3x optical and 5x digital zoom giving 15x total zoom when combined.

Face Recognition AF & AE
With the Face Recognition AF & AE function, the Samsung L830 enables the user to take better portrait pictures more easily. The function detects faces and automatically focuses on them; the brightness of the faces is adjusted optimally for beautiful portrait pictures.

2.5” Intelligent LCD
The Samsung L830 has a 2.5” LCD for improved contrast and colour reproduction, allowing you to enjoy a wider and clearer image. Also the Samsung L830's Intelligent LCD automatically detects environmental illumination and adjusts LCD brightness for optimal image viewing.

Red-eye Fix
The Red-eye Fix function algorithm programmed into the camera automatically eliminates red eye in shoot and play modes, allowing you take a more natural portrait photo.

ASR (Advanced Shake Reduction) system
The The ASR technology prevents the degradation of image clarity and colour which is sometimes found in flash photography. With ASR the effects of image blur are reduced in lower light conditions. You can even take well exposed, sharper pictures in low light condition without
using a flash at all, which guarantees brighter and more natural pictures.

i-Movie (MPEG-4, SVGA Quality 800X592 size)
The Samsung L830 records in the SVGA quality (800x592) which provides wider images than the VGA (600x480) size. As a result you can enjoy movies on a PC as well as on TV.

ISO 1600 support
Even when camera shake has been eliminated, a fast moving subject can cause the image to blur. The L830 supports ISO 1600 high sensitivity to give you super clear pictures with just the right amount of brightness, even when taking moving subjects under less-than-perfect lighting conditions.

Convenient mode dial
The user-friendly mode dial - with Night, Portrait and Children modes - makes it easier to get great shots of your subject by giving instant access to the appropriate mode for each individual situation. Children mode, with its open aperture and fast shutter speeds, lets you "freeze"
children and other subjects in fast-moving action shots. Night mode automatically uses the slow synchronization function to help you get clearer and brighter pictures at night.
