The Digimax V5 is designed with the basic requirements of a good camera in mind: clear picture quality and vibrant colour. In order to achieve this, the Digimax V5 adopted the world-renowned Schneider lens and a mounted 5 Mega Pixel CCD using RGB filtering. With these indispensable features, the Digimax V5 captures accurate and brilliant colours, and it can be used for a variety of needs ranging from amateur general photography to professional photography used for printing and production.

Moreover, the Digimax V5 provides some powerful manual functions such as Iris Priority, Shutter Priority, and Manual Mode for advanced users requiring more professional controls. It enables users to set a variety of exposure levels according to their needs and also allows for fine focusing with the Manual Focusing feature.

With 9 types of various scene modes (Portrait/Children/Landscape, Close-up/Sunset/Dawn/Backlight/Fireworks/Beach/Snow), users can produce clearer photos by determining the right mode for each individual situation.

Drawing favorable attention from consumers, the most serious issue related to a digital camera – power supply – presents no problem with the Digimax V5. This is because 9 types of batteries enable users to take pictures anywhere at any time without worrying about finding a static power supply. In addition, the Digimax V5 substantially improves GUI (Graphic User Interface). The result is comfortable, easy-to-read, and quick menu controls for users. More features include a menu display in 256 colours that satisfies visual preferences and the Move &; Set function that allows users to rapidly set the menus.

Similarly, users can set any image they want on the default screen of the camera after adjusting the image size. As well as basic video recording, the Digimax V5 supports additional functions such as voice recording with video, voice recording only for voice, voice memo to add voices to general pictures, and One-Touch playback.
