New Advances in RP (Real Photo) Technology

EXR Processor
Harnessing the high-speed performance of the BSI EXR CMOS sensor, the Dual CPU, EXR Core and Reconfigurable Processor power a host of functions including high-sensitivity HD movies and continuous shooting as well as expanded scene recognition and Pro Modes while the new Vector Graphics Accelerator drives the enhanced image quality of the rich GUI.

High-precision Molded Glass Aspheric Lens
By precisely focusing light at the same point on the focal plane, aspheric lens design eliminates the need for additional corrective lens elements. While this lens reduces distortion at wide angles, improves resolution in both center and edge areas, cuts glare and reflections, and minimizes chromatic aberration throughout the zoom range, the lens also makes possible a lighter and more compact design.

Easy Operation with Touch Screen while Shooting
FinePix Z900EXR automatically detects how you are holding the camera and rotates the display of portrait or landscape view. Hold it sideways and the view automatically switches to landscape view. Hold it vertically and the display changes to portrait view. You can also manage versatile settings by simply touching the screen.

Super GUI Flash Animation and Vector Graphics
A big, bright 3.5-inch touch screen LCD makes framing and viewing your shots a pleasure, while providing ample space to enjoy sophisticated playback and image search options. The updated GUI (graphic user interface) incorporates flash technology, adding an intuitive and entertaining dimension to searching and displaying photos and accessing features. And a new font display technology produces menus and icons that are easy on the eye.
