The Metal Hand Grip is a more substantial hand grip than the standard grip. It improves lens height to avoid any issues with tripod mounts, allows access to the coupler jack slot – for time lapse and long exposure photography whilst on tripods and has a tripod mount in line with optical axis. It also has flanges to allow a direct connection to Arca-Swiss compatible tripod heads.
