The FinePix Z2 Zoom showcases a variety of Fujifilm's inventive construction techniques that help the camera achieve its sleek casing and miniature dimensions. The zoom lens has a special refractive, non-extending design that delivers 3x optical reach without any visible movement on the Z2 Zoom's flat exterior.

Wide angle 3x optical zoom
Remarkably for a camera of these dimensions, the FinePix Z2 Zoom also includes a TV-quality movie function, capable of capturing 30 frames per second, VGA video with sound. Furthermore, the large LCD screen makes it easy to view movies and share the action without needing to use a TV screen.

Fast start-up
The camera is powered-up and ready for action in a super-fast 0.6 seconds. A breathtaking minimal shutter lag of 0.01 seconds and a shortened shooting interval of 1.1 seconds between frames means the camera is ready when you are.

The screen: big and touch
Despite its diminutive build, the FinePix Z2 Zoom sports a huge 2.5 inch LCD screen - the largest size in the Fujifilm range, making it ideal for viewing and editing images while out and about. Importantly for this type of 'take-everywhere' camera, the glass screen is also specially toughened, which makes it more than a match for the harsh environment of the pocket or handbag.

Natural light mode
What makes the Z2 Zoom special is the incredible quality of its low-light images, thanks to the refined Super CCD sensor and Real Photo Processor. Just select the 'Natural Light' mode, and the flash will be switched off, and the camera will produce crisp, clear images time after time. The Super CCD sensor features Fujifilm's five million trademark octagonal photodiodes, which act as more efficient light receptors than traditional CCD structures.
