The JX600 has a 14 million pixel* sensor that produces high-quality, low-noise results at sensitivities of up to ISO 3200 (not available at some image sizes). Its 5x optical zoom lens and image stabilization let you capture every moment with reduced camera and subject blur. Automatic Scene Recognition (SR Auto) chooses optimum camera settings for the best images of any scene.

Versatile Shooting Modes

This slim, compact camera is packed with great features including:
Advanced filters (6 special effects -- Toy Camera, Miniature, Pop Colour, Soft Focus, Cross Screen and Partial Colour); Individual shutter 3D; Motion Panorama; Blink and Face detection with Red-eye removal; Smile & shoot mode; Tracking auto focus and, Natural Light and with Flash mode.

HD Movie (720p/30fps)

Record High Definition movies (1280 x 720 pixels) with movie scene recognition function that chooses optimum settings for your environment. Dedicated Movie recording button lets you go from taking photos to shooting movies at the press of a button. The camera features advanced movie editing including "movie trimming" to cut unwanted footage from movies, and "movie join" to join multiple separate clips into a single movie. You can also shoot photos with an aspect ratio of 16:9.

Other Functions

Other playback functions of the JX600 include Micro thumbnail view, easy web uploading to YouTube™ and FACEBOOK, and Photobook Assist. Includes rechargeable battery that charges when the camera is connected via USB.
