Superb image quality

With an impressive 10 Megapixels, you won' t miss even the finest details of your subject. Images are sharp and clear, with vivid colour, with enough resolution to enlarge for framing.

Big Screen Viewing

The FinePix J250 features a large, bright 3-inch LCD screen which is great for composing and playing back your images.

Easy to search

Your photos can be displayed one, two or nine frames at a time, or, using the handy Microthumbnail View, you can navigate your photo library with a display of up to 100 thumbnails.

Automatic Scene Recognition

You frame the shot and the FinePix J250 does the rest.

The FinePix J250 features Scene Recognition technology which cleverly detects a scene without needing you to pre-select a mode on the camera. Having identified the most commonly photographed subjects, Fujifilm has developed technology to automatically identify and recognise different scenes. Once the scene in the frame has been detected from one of the 6 types – Portrait, Macro, Landscape, Night, Backlit Portrait, Night Portrait – the camera will optimise the settings to capture the most stunning photo of your chosen subject.

Portrait

Recognises portrait shots by detecting that there are faces in the frame and optimising focus, brightness and white balance accordingly.

Landscape

Automatically recognises scenic shots such as mountains and buildings. Ensures that vivid colours are captured & adds depth to your pictures.

Night

For low-light and night time scenarios, shutter speed and sensitivity are automatically adjusted, producing blur-free pictures with minimal noise.

Macro

Macro mode sets the focusing position of the details of small flowers or tiny subjects accurately.

Backlit Portrait

Optimises the brightness of the faces in the picture (that would usually end up in shadow) and compensates for the underexposure caused by the light behind.

Night Portrait

When photographing people at night or in low light, SR Auto optimises flash range, shutter speed, and the exposure of the portrait, whilst capturing a smooth and noiseless background.

Dual Image Stabilisation

The FinePix J250 features Fujifilm's highly effective Dual Image Stabilisation technology, which combines a mechanically stabilised Super CCD sensor with high ISO sensitivities, for total anti-blur protection. The combination of these technologies reduces the blurring effect of both hand-shake and subject movement even further to provide the highest quality photos, with sharp, clean and clear results no matter what the shooting conditions.

People-friendly Technology

Boasting Fujifilm's acclaimed ultra-fast Face Detection technology which can quickly & intelligently detect up to ten faces in a frame and adjusts focus, exposure and white balance to reveal perfect shots.

The technology works regardless of the subject's position in the frame, and is not confused by anyone wearing glasses. To avoid the dissapointing results of red-eye, Face Detection goes one step further by detecting any red-eye in the shot and automatically removing it as the picture is taken.
