6.3 million pixels super CCD
Fujifilm's proprietary Super CCD sensor has been used in the entry-level range. It's reassuring to know that as long as the camera has power, you can take a picture – the FinePix A600 Zoom contains a very useful 12MB of internal memory, which is enough to accommodate those emergency images that you didn't have space for on the card. With that said, the main storage for images on the A600 Zoom should be an additional xD card, which will allow you to accommodate almost as many images as you like.
