Looks that thrill
With great looks and superb performance the MVX300 is a camcorder you’ll love to use. The sensitive design feels natural and intuitive. Its body is sleek and stylish; it sits comfortably in your palm. Sculpted switches and recessed buttons are all at your fingertips, giving instant access to the key controls; that leaves you free to focus on the action.
Small but smart
The MVX300 is a super-compact device that’s packed with functionality. The large 2.5” LCD screen can be backlit to improve visibility in bright outdoor conditions. An ‘Easy’ switch provides an instant ‘point-and-shoot’ facility, ideal when you need to react quickly. If you’re shooting in darker conditions, you can even switch to Night Mode at the touch of a button.
Capture every detail
Advanced electronics will enhance your footage whatever the conditions. The high resolution, 1.33 Megapixel CCD captures images that are consistently sharp. Canon’s unique DiGIC DV processor renders these as satisfyingly natural colours, with no loss in intensity. With Electronic Image Stabilisation (EIS) image shake is suppressed and your footage stays steady and calm.
An eye for detail
Precision optics backed by 60 years of Canon development ensure crisp, clear results. The 18x optical zoom lens has an aspheric element, which gives sharp, high contrast footage across the image. Super Spectra coatings applied to each lens element protect your images by eliminating internal reflections that could otherwise cause ghosting and flare.
Multiple modes
The MVX300’s multiple modes improve its performance in a range of specific conditions. With Night mode you can shoot in almost complete darkness, while the widescreen 16:9 mode can be used in high-resolution or with EIS for sharp results when filming is difficult.
Stills and movies
A highly capable digital camera is built into the MVX300. You can take stills while simultaneously recording video without impairing your footage. A mechanical shutter eliminates the blur found in lesser quality camcorders. In stills mode you can shoot 3 or 5 frames per second.
Sharing
JPEGs and Motion JPEGs are stored direct onto the SD or MMC memory card, for easy upload to PC via USB. Printing stills couldn’t be simpler. There’s no need for a PC, just connect to any PictBridge compliant printer, select the image and within seconds you’ll have a quality print.
